MOREDANCE

A small grey music player with a screen of two dancers, colour-coded paper strips feeding through it, beside a box of strips

A music player you make music with.

Collect sounds as you go; it turns them into songs.

AI can now write a song from a few words.

Platforms like Suno blur performers, creators and listeners. But can AI feel what a song means? And when making music is this easy, does it still mean anything to us?

One part collects sounds. The other turns them into music.

The collector sends you out to gather sounds you find interesting and prints each onto a coloured paper strip. The producer reads the strips and uses AI to make new music from them, on a loop or in iterations.

You are both the maker and the listener.

The songs come from where you’ve been, so they keep changing as you explore.
